DAVGIS
DAVGIS
your macroscopic displacement model deserves to be universal and free.
DAVGIS is:
the complementarity of the DAVIS macroscopic modeling software for multi-modal, multi-class, and multi-time trips created by French transport research and QGIS software by creating a plugin developed entirely in Python language.
The DAVGIS product creates a bridge between the world of macro-modeling of displacements and its DAVIS product, free French software, and on the other hand that of the free GIS QGIS which is a platform of infinite richness.
DAVGIS is the contraction of the two names DAVIS and QGIS.
The two products DAVIS and DAVGIS are free software under the GNU general public license version 3, they are referenced on the ADULLAC site. They are uploaded to GITHUB.
DAVGIS a tool under the QGIS GIS for displacement modeling.
Designed by an expert, intended for the use of all.
DAVIS is a complete software designed for engineers and technicians who performs macroscopic urban studies of multimodal journeys.
The programs have been developed by French research for this exclusive purpose, for half a century. It contains an extremely rich and varied set of functions and methods.
DAVGIS is an interface written in Python language fully integrated into QGIS GIS in version 3.0.
It offers an exploitation of DAVIS supply, demand, allocations and results within the geographical framework.
The concepts of macroscopic modeling are the foundation of the developments.
Patrick Morelli, Consulting Engineer, created the DAVGIS software and distributes it, supports it.
He has been active in the world of movement modeling for over 30 years and carries out work all over France and abroad.
He has been a DAVIS expert for 30 years, and maintains privileged relationships with the designer.
