DAVGIS
DAVGIS create a user-friendly interface between the world of macroscopic modeling of multi-class, multimodal and multi-time movements under DAVIS and the world of geographic representation under QGIS.
THE THREE MAIN INPUTS OF MODELING AND ITS INTEGRATION UNDER QGIS.
OFFER
Management of multimodal graphs
An offer is basically on a graph structure oriented points and arcs. It goes without saying that it is underlying this notion of hierarchy with the points at the highest level, then the arcs at the level below.
An arc can only exist if there is a point at each end.
Evidence to emphasize, a point and an oriented arc are unique.
The use of the tools of the offer goes through the creation of points, then arcs from points.
REQUEST
Matrix management
A request is a square table or matrix of numeric numbers whole or with decimal, which defines a unit of vehicle or displacement.
We can manage the matrices by box or by line or by column in a first tab of the interface.
One can also carry out calculations on complete matrices, of various natures (create a matrix, create a matrix by gravity model, recalculate a matrix by evolution of the margins and Fratar projection)
ASSIGNMENT
Assignment, Results
An assignment is the calculation on a supply and a demand of the shortest paths from one zone to another according to, the modes, the classes, the schedules and generalized time function for the individual mode and impedance for the mode collective.
The results and their interpretations offer suitable outings and typical macro modeling analyzes (hair, routes, etc.).
A litany of results can be used, digitally or graphically.

DAVIS & DAVGIS
In this video, we present Patrick Morelli, consulting engineer expert in the field of macroscopic displacement modeling, then the interface that we have developed between the DAVIS software created by French transport research at INRETS, now IFFSTAR, and the free QGIS GIS by writing a plugin in Python.
This video is in French language.
DAVGIS
is a plugin program developed in Python to integrate the free QGIS GIS. It allows the DAVIS scientific software created by French transport research to integrate the world of geographical representation under GIS. In this context, he will be able to benefit from all the contributions of these platforms and to bring his qualities of scientific calculation on transport models.
